Seeing as its Australia Day I thought I should post a Aussie Classic! As you know I love my food, and I really like to spend my spare time cooking for friends and family. This however is the cheats version, or a time restricted one!  I hope you guys try this recipe and enjoy it. Let me know how go.

Ingredients

• 4 cups desiccat ed or shredded coconut
• 1 Victoria sponge cake (in two halves)
• 1/3 cup strawberry jam
• 2 cups icing sugar
• 1/4 cup cocoa powder
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

1. Spread the coconut onto a large sheet of baking paper.
2. Cut each half of the sponge cake in half horizontally and spread 2 of the halves with the jam. Top with the remaining halves, then cut each jam-layered sponge into 8 filled portions.
3. Sift the icing sugar and cocoa powder into a bowl. Add vanilla and gradually add enough warm water to form a slightly runny icing. Dip each cake portion in the icing to coat completely (be warned, this is a messy job. You may want to wear gloves). Roll each piece of cake in the coconut, then place on a wire rack for 15 minutes to dry before packing in plastic containers

Whilst us trolley dollies in the Southern  Hemisphere are sweating it out and the tarmac is melting , spare a thought for our sisters in Europe!

What do y’all think? If Saggo Pilot becomes a persona non grata, I guess I could always try this website dating-airways, it seems to have some success, oui? I think its a great idea for crew to have their own dating site. Its really hard to maintain even friendships at home when your flying high as your away for long periods of time. At the very least it would be great to see a friendly face in a foreign port to catch up with. Sometimes your alone in a port or the crew you’re with, are you know, fuckwits, or jusr not your type of ppls ….!

Hello fellow crew and pax

Well…where have I been you ask?

 Paris…? London…? Sydney…? New York….?

Ha! Wishful thinking on my behalf !

I have been sick sick sick ! I’ve had an ear and throat infection – or URTI as what its commonly called as its a common occurrence for crew.

So to all my fellow crew and pax sorry I’ve been away. I will make up for it with more posts, polls and your pics!

Alot of peeps want information on how to become a flight attendant so I thought I would dedicate a continuous post to it.

If any of you have tips/advice etc please leave a comment or email me ttt@taureantrolleydolly.com so i can post them on here for all to benefit.

For those aspiring flight attendants I’m in the process of starting a page of airline employment opportunities, so once again if you know of any links please forward it on to me so I cant post on there.

It so refreshing to see someone make the effort to look so chic when flying! It must be said though that this woman always looks chic! Even her kiddies have made the effort, just love that batman look!

I personally think the days of making the effort to dress up for flying are gone…long gone. They are very few pax that do. What do you think?

I mean I’m not asking for everyone to do a Posh and be dressed to the nines, look at Cheryll she has jeans, jacket and some heels – chic, smart an accessable look ~ non?

I bet your wondering why I’m moaning about this? Well it has to be said ! I and my fellow FA’s aresick of pax turning up with no shoes on and/or dirty stinky clothes. I hate hate hate unkempt toe nails! OMG the amount of pax that have minging feet ~ blah!

Am I asking too much for pax to make the effort? Or just shower before travelling???
